Thematic Teaching Project Learning

Our school emphasises a child-oriented philosophy, adopting diversified teaching methods to raise children's learning abilities and interests. For instance, “Thematic teaching”, “Project learning” etc., let children learn through play as they think, try, discuss, prove, discover and voice their opinions. We also provide active exploring, observing and practice opportunities by arranging diversified activities according to themes, for example, outdoor and community visits.

Whole Language Approach

Our school hires native English teachers to organise English games and activities, as well as having Putonghua teachers organise Putonghua activities to inspire children's interest in learning other languages, cultivate their interests in learning to become multilingual, and prepare them for primary school through music, singing, grooving, dancing, and organised play.

Moral Cultivation Programme

Our school believes that moral education deeply impacts individual development, both at school and in daily life. From early childhood we can foster the children persona in such a way as to help them build good character and enable them to have good personal relationships. To achieve this, our school designs an annual educational and interesting “moral cultivation programme” to let children interact with people, learn from practice, and cultivate their moral and civic awareness. In recent years, we have also participated in the co-organised “Yan Chai Hospital Moral and Civic Education Fund” by Yan Chai Hospital and Education Bureau. We are very honoured to have received the award and bonus for eleven consecutive years.

Multiple Intelligences Day

Our school assigns every Friday as “Multiple Intelligences Day”, through different activities with intellectual elements, such as art, music, drama and games. Activities are designed to be suitable for children's development, so that they can learn through interesting activities and unleash their full potential.
